With sadness, the family announces the passing of Therese after a short illness on January 7, 2026.
She is survived by her son Matthew (Jacqueline Lee) Kurz; granddaughter Marissa Chernoff; sister Andrea Boyd; niece Karen Boyd; brother Andrew Wach and family; brother-in-law Brent (Grace) Kurz; and nephew Stephen Kurz; along with Graham Lee, Ryan Simard, and numerous extended family members and friends.
Mom had a deep love for animals and found joy in cooking, always being excited to try new recipes. Whether caring for the creatures she loved or creating something special in the kitchen, she brought warmth and heart into everything she did.
As per her wishes, cremation has taken place, and no service will be held.
